In previous version 4 of StreamServe there was a way to interact with the RePrint document archive through simple URLs.
You could search and fetch archived documents by calling the page urlsearch.asp. With the Persuasion release (version 5) of StreamServe the RePrint archive was replaced by Collector. Persuasion also introduced a Web Services SDK for interacting with Collector.

Since there are still many applications that depend on the URL functionality and that does not provide a simple way to substitute a simple URL request with a web services call, PubliSyst has developed archiveLink. Simply drop the archivelink.war into your Tomcat installation and you will have URL functionality also with Persuasion.

The download comes with documentation and a sample application to help you get started building your own URLs.

The aim of this application is to provide some help for people that would like to implement the StreamServe WebServices for Collector (Archive) in .Net but who does not know where to start looking.

The example console application and the source code provided is for Persuasion SP4 and SP5. PubliSyst also have sample code for the older Persuasion SP2-SP3 SDK available on request.

All code is provided "as is" and no guarantees for how it will work in your specific environment is given.
